Welcome to Catio & Co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of catioandco.com and all information, content, products and services available through it (the “Services”). “Catio & Co.,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Catio & Co.

By visiting our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our Services.

1. Using our store

By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that you have permission from a parent or guardian. You may use our website and products only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, including by introducing viruses or malicious code or by interfering with its security. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.

2. Our products

Catio & Co. sells catios, cat enclosures, playpens, cat houses, cat netting, window perches, cat doors, carriers and cat wall furniture. We work to make descriptions, photos, dimensions and specifications accurate, but colours, finishes, dimensions and appearance may vary slightly because of product updates, manufacturing tolerances or screen settings. Some photos show products in styled settings; props and cats are not included. We may change or discontinue products and limit quantities at any time.

3. Safe use, assembly and installation

Please read all instructions and warnings before assembling, installing or using a product, and check that it suits your cat and your space.

Assemble and install products as instructed. Fix wall-mounted items into wall studs or with anchors rated well above the expected load, and fit nets and flaps securely on all sides.
Check fixings, mesh, nets, suction cups and moving parts regularly and stop using a product that is worn or damaged.
Supervise your cat when it uses a product for the first time, and outdoors. Make sure there is shade, water and shelter, and bring your cat inside in extreme weather.
Respect any weight limits and local rules, including landlord, building and homeowner-association rules for balconies, windows and outdoor structures.

To the extent permitted by law, Catio & Co. is not responsible for injury, loss or damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, modification or use for a purpose other than intended. Our product information is general guidance and is not veterinary advice; if you have concerns about your cat’s health or behaviour, consult a veterinarian.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse, limit, change or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example because of unavailability, pricing or product errors, payment problems, suspected fraud, unusual quantities or shipping restrictions. An automatic order confirmation means we received your order, not that it has been accepted or shipped. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you to your original payment method.

5. Billing and account information

You agree to provide accurate and complete purchase, billing, shipping and account information and confirm you are authorized to use your chosen payment method. We may reject transactions that appear fraudulent or unauthorized.

6. Prices, offers and promotions

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Offers such as “buy one, get 50% off the second,” “buy 2, get 1 free,” bundles, discount codes and free-shipping thresholds may have eligibility rules, end dates and limits. Unless stated otherwise, offers can’t be combined; where more than one automatic offer applies, the best eligible offer is applied at checkout. If a pricing or promotional error occurs, we may correct it and, where permitted by law, cancel affected orders.

7. Shipping Protection

Shipping Protection is an optional add-on offered in the cart. If you choose it and your order is lost, stolen or damaged in transit, we will review your claim and provide a replacement or refund for the affected items, as described in our Refund Policy. Shipping Protection is provided by Catio & Co. and is not an insurance product.

8. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by carriers, customs, weather, holidays and other events outside our control. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. See our Shipping Policy for details.

9. Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and replacements are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that can’t be excluded under applicable law.

10. Intellectual property

Our website and its content, including the Catio & Co. name, logo, design, photos, text and graphics, are owned by or licensed to Catio & Co. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, republish or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11. Reviews and your content

If you submit reviews, photos, comments or other content, you confirm you have the right to do so and that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights. You give Catio & Co. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display and adapt it for legitimate business and promotional purposes. You must not submit fake, misleading, unlawful or abusive content. We may moderate or remove content.

12. Third-party services

We use third-party providers for payments, shipping, analytics, marketing, reviews and other functions. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party websites or services we don’t control.

13. Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify. Purchases from Catio & Co. are transactions between you and Catio & Co., not Shopify.

14. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Prohibited uses

You may not use our Services to break the law, commit fraud, infringe others’ rights, submit false information, impersonate others, spread malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the website, collect others’ data without permission, spam, scrape or circumvent security measures.

16. Errors and omissions

Our website may occasionally contain errors in descriptions, prices, offers, availability, shipping costs or delivery estimates. We may correct them and update or cancel affected orders where permitted by law.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that can’t legally be excluded.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catio & Co. and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, suppliers and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of our Services or products. Our liability is not limited where the law doesn’t allow it.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Catio & Co. and its affiliates, employees, contractors, suppliers and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages and reasonable expenses arising from your material breach of these Terms, applicable law or third-party rights.

20. Severability, termination and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, commit fraud or create a legal or security risk; provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and Catio & Co. about the Services. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
